Contract Description

WA Plumbing Solutions were contracted to supply and install an in-ground fire hydrant system with fire pumps and tanks as part of the upgrade to Wanneroo Senior High School. We were required to install the system during school hours and were required to come up with a safety management plan, this enabled us to mitigate all issues surrounding the protection of  the students and teachers. As per the contract we installed 980 metres of 180mm HDPE pipe work, 6 external dual head hydrants, one diesel fire pump, pump room and 2 by 25,000 ltr fire storage tanks. We were also required to construct 215 metres of asphalt roadway to provide access for fire trucks around the school. We were required to provide for all service location and make good to road ways and garden areas. As per our contract we were required to test and commission the hydrant system prior to FESA conducting their flow test
